On the left side of the
main navigation menu you will see a field for performing "quick"
searches
(figure 1).

The quick search
function is designed to facilitate quickly finding an item.
You can input either a name, Item number or a Catalog number.
The quick search function will then look through all the names, item
numbers and catalog numbers for your item. If it finds any
matches they will be displayed on the results page. One note,
the quick search is not designed to be an exhaustive search of
information in the system. If you place the 'clear bandage' in
the field and search on it the quick search function will look for
exactly "clear bandage" not "clear" and "bandage". That type
of searching is capable through the
Advanced Search function.
